On the 14th of March 2022, the Consortium of Inclusive Break: equal opportunities in educational centers (2021-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000032638), met online for the first time to discuss about the start of this new project, belonging to the program ERASMUS+, KA220-SCH – Cooperation partnerships in school education. The project sees the participation of partners with a strong expertise in the field of the inclusion, education and youth, such as:
- ASPAYM CYL, Spain;
- DON BOSCO CYL, Spain;
- MAREDOLCE, Italy;
- SCOALA PRIMARA LORELAY, Romania;
- GAMMA INSTITUTE, Romania;
- CEIPES, Italy.
In fact, the project wants to implement an innovative method based on non-formal learning, using the break as space of inclusion, challenging the bullying, the stereotype and the fewer opportunities. The aim is the development of social and personal skills, such as those related to the cooperation, the conflict resolution, the tolerance and the respect.
The target group is made up of school students, educational school staff, associations and public bodies working in the field. Precisely to promote the personal and social students’ development, as well as the professional grow of the experts in the field, the partnership will cooperate to create an interactive handbook including 30 workshops and audiovisual tools. Then, before the final version, the handbook will be tested with students of each country of the Consortium. In addition, to support the inclusion, it will be accessible for blind and deaf people, as well as for people with intellectual disabilities.
During the KOM, the partners discussed about the strategies, the phases of the project and of the handbook development. CEIPES, as dissemination leader, presented the Dissemination and Communication plan, while the Consortium chose the logo. It has been chosen keeping in mind the target group and the different characteristics of people, joining together to reach the goal of the inclusion.
The partner discussed also about the next immediate steps. The Consortium will work on the investigation and design of the pedagogical methodology, paying attention to the dissemination and the quality assurance, waiting to meet in presence in the next Transnational Meeting, which will be held right in Palermo!
